Herbert Wayne Millard

Franklin, NC - Herbert Wayne Millard, age 94, of Jones Creek Road, Franklin, NC, passed away Wednesday, July 30, 2008 at his residence. He was a native of Muhlenberg, Kentucky, the son of the late Herbert and Annie Stirsman Millard. He was a Jr. High School Principal, in Ocala, FL, and was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Franklin.

He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Anna Rhea Perkins Millard, three daughters, Renee M. Bell and her husband Russ of Apopka, FL, Jane M. Thompson and her husband Don of Treasure Island, FL and Deborah M. Coppola of Tequesta, FL; two sisters, Elizabeth Draper of Ft. Pierce, FL and Nancy Day of Glasgow, Kentucky, three grandchildren, Christopher Bell, Kellie and Kristie Coppola also survive.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, August 3, 2008 at 2:00pm at the First Presbyterian Church of Franklin, with Rev. Bob Abel officiating.
