Hugh Dennis Justus

Franklin, NC - Hugh Dennis Justus, 66, loving father, grandfather and husband, of Franklin passed away Tuesday, April 23, 2013. Born in Rabun County, GA, he was the son of the late Webb D. and Mae Baker Justus. He was an accomplished carpenter and owned Justus Homebuilders. He was a veteran of the U. S. Navy serving during Vietnam.

Mr. Justus is survived by his wife, Amy Berg Justus; two daughters, Sarah Adams and husband Steven of Franksville, WI and Emily Justus of Franklin; one son, Ian Justus of Camarillo, CA; one sister, Barbara Strickland of Oakwood, GA; one brother, Howard Justus of Clayton, GA and two grandchildren, Ruth and Kaylee Adams both of Franksville, WI. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter, Jennifer Justus

Memorial services will be held Saturday, April 27, 2013 at 3:00 pm in the Chapel of Bryant Grant Funeral Home with Rev. Josh Brooks officiating. Franklin VFW Post #7339 and American Legion Post #108 will perform complete military rites. The family will receive friends Saturday, from 2:00 -3:00 pm, one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to North Carolina Library for the Blind, 1841 Capital Blvd., Raleigh, NC 27635.
