Ishma Lee Lightner

Franklin, NC - Ishma Lee Lightner, age 94, of Franklin, NC, formerly of Franklin Furnace, OH, passed away Thursday, October 27, 2011. Born in Lawrence Co., KY she was the daughter of the late Joshua and Emmaline Hay Nickell. She was married to Leonard Lightner who died in 1968. She was a core maker for Dayton Malleable Iron Company, retiring in 1979 with 28 years of service. Ishma was a member of Plymouth Heights Church of the Nazarene in Franklin Furnace, OH since 1964.

She is survived by Connie Henderson, Carol Vincent and Alana Sauers.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 5, 2011 at 4:00 p.m. at the home of Carol Vincent. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Angel Hospice, 170 Church Street, Franklin, NC 28734.
