Franklin, NC - James Lee "Bo" Kinsland, 80, of Franklin, NC passed away Sunday, February 22, 2015 in a local hospital. A native of Macon County, he was the son of the late Arthur and Annis McDowell Kinsland. He was plant manager for Blue Bell Industries and operated the Franklin water treatment plant for 10 years.

Mr. Kinsland was a loving husband, father and grandfather and was a dedicated member of Franklin First Baptist Church where he was a Sunday school teacher for 30 years and a Deacon.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Nora Jean Baldwin Kinsland; three sons, James Michael Kinsland, Gregg Kinsland and his wife Christie and David Kinsland and his wife Amy all of Franklin and six grandchildren, Kyle, Alex, Corrie, Bo Michael, Talley and Siler Kinsland. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Baldwin Kinsland.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at 2:30 pm at Franklin First Baptist Church with Rev. Jim Dusek and Dr. Robert Brown officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Dan Cansler, Mark West, Matthew West, Johnny Waldroop, Adam Waldroop, Kyle Kinsland, Alex Kinsland and Billy Mashburn.

The family will receive friends Wednesday from 1:30 2:30, one hour prior to the service, at the church. The body will remain at Bryant Grant Funeral Home until being placed in the church one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to a favorite charity.

Bryant Grant Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
