James Thomas Mann, Sr

Franklin, NC - James Thomas Mann, Sr., age 70, of Franklin, NC passed away Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at a local nursing home. He was born in Macon County, NC the son of the late Sanford and Ruby Corbin Mann. He was married to Joyce Anderson Mann who passed away in 2007. He was owner of Franklin Sheet Metal and was a member of Junaluska Lodge #145. He was a member of Windy Gap Baptist Church. He loved old cars, trucks, tractors and old engines. He was a loving father and grandfather.

He is survived by two sons, James Thomas Mann, Jr. and his wife, Michelle of Franklin, NC and Keith Eugene Mann and his wife, Terry of Franklin, NC; mother of his children, Arlene Saunders of Franklin, NC one sister, Barbara Ledford and her husband, Raymond of Webster, NC; three grandchildren, Brandon Mann, Logan Mann and Heaven Conner Mann; special friends, Martha & Elbert McConnell of Franklin. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Marshall and Doug Mann.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, December 1 at 7:00PM in the Chapel of Bryant Grant Funeral Home with Rev. Lloyd Fish, Rev. Mark Bishop, Rev. David Brown and Rev. Wiley Gibson officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday from 5:00 7:00PM at Bryant Grant Funeral Home.
