James "Jamie" Matthew Carpenter

James "Jamie" Matthew Carpenter, 51 of Franklin, NC, passed away Friday August 9, 2024, with his loving wife Tina by his side.

Jamie was preceded in death by his parents James and Beatrice Carpenter, and his sister Angie Alexander.

He is survived by his wife Tina Carpenter and their children, Kinley, Ryleigh, Abby (Hunter), Robert (Lylian), Jonathan (Lesleigh), and Austin (Melissa). As well as five grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Along with his sister Debbie Lacoco (Brad).

Jamie was loving father and husband. He liked to spend any time he could with his family. He was a carpenter by trade and was very particular about the work that he did. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and especially enjoyed when he was able to take his daughter Kinley along. He also loved the games of baseball and football, making walking sticks, and enjoyed watching NASCAR. Jamie was a Christian and loved the Lord. He was also funny, kind, smart, and liked picking at ya for fun. His wife Tina cared for him endlessly during his sickness and stayed by his side until the very end.

Jamie will be greatly missed by all family and friends.

A memorial service for Mr. Carpenter will be held Tuesday August 20th, 2024, at 6:00 PM in the Chapel of Bryant-Grant Funeral Home with Rev. Jason Smith and Rev. Carson Gibson officiating.
