James Wallace Sheffield

James Wallace Sheffield, 80, passed away Friday, April 12, 2024, in Mountain City Tennessee. Mr. Sheffield was born September 10, 1943, in Macon County to the late William Coleman Sheffield and Nola Estella Sheffield-Blanton.

James worked for Burlington Mills, was a member of Snow Hill Methodist Church, and was a U.A. Army Veteran serving during Vietnam.

Survivors include his daughter, Kimberly Sheffield of Franklin, NC; a son William Dale Sheffield of Tennessee; a grandson, Matt Sheffield of Franklin, NC; two nephews, Ricky (Danita) Stoudemire and Randy (Michelle) Stoudemire both of Franklin, and many other niece’s and nephews.

In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by three sisters, Edith Anne Stoudemire, Barbara Cathey, and Grace Welch.
