Janet Ann Anderson

Janet Ann Anderson, 64, of Franklin, NC, passed away October 8, 2022.  She was born October 13, 1957, in Franklin, NC to the late Turner Cleveland Anderson and Annie Lou Waldroop Anderson.  Janet was a CPA and worked for the Town of Franklin as town accountant and clerk for 35 years.  She attended the Cartoogechaye Church of God and was a member of the NC Clerk Association and International Town Clerk Association.  She liked to cook, bake, and have family gatherings.

She is survived by two brothers, Jerry Turner Anderson (Karon) and David Eugene Anderson (Gail); two sisters, Jane Elizabeth Anderson, and Patricia Anderson Davis (Gary); nephews, Steve Anderson, Charles Anderson, Will Davis, and Jonathan Anderson; nieces, April Anderson, Jennifer Anderson and Janice Mason; two great-nieces, one great-nephew; one great-great-niece; and two sisters-in-law, Sandra Anderson and Marie Anderson.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Ellis Steve Anderson, and Paul Stanley Anderson.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, October 12, 2022, at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Bryant-Grant Funeral Home, with Rev. Robert Dryman and Rev. Phillip Cochran officiating.  Burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Charles Anderson, Steve Anderson, Clinton Anderson, Will Davis, Eddie Knight, Lloyd Mashburn, Clifford Waldroop, and Claude Waldroop.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
