Janette Elaine White

Franklin, NC - Janette Elaine White, 59, of Franklin, NC passed away Saturday, October 12, 2013. Born in Macon County, she was the daughter of the late Jack and Alma Mathis Hedden. She was a 1972 graduate of Franklin High School; a school bus driver for Macon County Board of Education and had worked at Ingles for several years. She was a loving mother and grandmother and loved to read.

Janette is survived by one daughter Misty Sargent of Franklin, NC; one son, Austin Canup of Franklin, GA; a special friend, Sandy Jones of Franklin, NC; three sisters, Ann Fullbright of Franklin, NC, Kathy Pendel of Gastonia, NC and Dale Turner of Bessemer City, NC; two brothers, Randy Hedden of Tamassee, SC, Ricky Hedden of Charlotte, NC; five grandchildren, Todd, Jeremiah, Hank, Mark, and Madison and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Lanni Hedden.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, October 15, 2013 at 6:00 pm in the Chapel of Bryant Grant Funeral Home with Rev. Alton Dendy officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 5:00 6:00 pm, one hour prior to the service, at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her name to Care Partners, 68 Sweeten Creek Road, Asheville, NC 28801.
