Janice Marshall Gallant

Janice Lorene Marshall Gallant, 71, went home to be with the Lord Sunday, September 4, 2016. Janice was born September 30, 1944 in Smithville, Mo. to the late Delbert and Kathryn Gillilland Marshall. She was married to Mr. John G. Gallant who survives. Janice worked many years in accounting at the Howard Johnson, Macon Bank, and Macon County Schools before retiring. She was also a member of the Cowee Baptist Church in Franklin, NC.

Survivors include her husband of the home; two daughters, Cheryl Ann Fuller of Crestview, Fl. and Julie Jaylene McLaughin (Scott) of Zebulan, NC; a son, Johnny Mark Eubanks (Marcella) of Crestview, Fl; a sister, Deanne Kay Flanagan (Dale) of Lee Summitt, Mo; a brother, Delbert Earl Marshall (Connie) of Lee Summitt, Mo; three grandchildren, Brittany Jones, Krista Landon, and Michelle Eubanks; and two great-grandchildren, Mykayla Jones and Waylon Jones.

A Celebration of Life service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 10, 2016 at the Cowee Baptist Church with the Rev. Jason Smith and Rev. Ronnie Branson officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00-10:45 a.m. prior to the service at the church.

In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Cowee Baptist Church Building Fund, 6301 Bryson City Rd. Franklin, NC 28734.
