Jeffrey (Jeff) Karl Sanders

Franklin, NC - Jeffrey (Jeff) Karl Sanders, age 43, of Franklin, NC passed away Monday, August 6, 2012. Born in Macon County, he was the son of John (Jay) and Betty Henson Sanders. He was a member of Prentiss Baptist Church where he was a deacon. He liked camping and was a member of Clarks Chapel Fire Department. He had worked as a security guard at Highlands Country Club. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Carl and Gussie Henson and paternal grandparents, Jess and Ida Sanders.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by two daughters, Kayla Sanders of the home and Brianna Stewart of Franklin; one son, Devan Sanders of the home; one sister, Sharon Cates and husband Kevin of Weekie Wachee, FL; one brother, Mike Sanders and wife Carol of Apex, NC, and a special nephew, Joe Friedling.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, August 9, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Prentiss Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. David Brown and Rev. Randy Drinnon officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday, from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m., one hour prior to the service, at Bryant Grant Funeral Home.
