Jennie Lee Jones O’Riley

Franklin N.C. - Jennie Lee Jones,O’Riley, age 73, of Sylva formerley of Franklin passed away Saturday, February 11, 2011. She was a native of Macon County N.C., the daughter of the late James Monroe Jones and Alice Bertie Ledford She was married to the late Lowell Winton Monteith. She was preceded in death by one son Jack Corbin Lakey,two sisters, Irene O’Riley; Ruth Hedden and three brothers Maylon Lakey; Vance Lakey and Denny Jones. She was a member of the St. Marys Catholic Church in Sylva and a big supporter of St Judes Childrens Hospital. She was an avid dog lover,loved growing flowers and reading.

She is survivd by one daughter Anna Lee Hyder of High Point N.C.; three sons James Monteith and wife Kay of Sylve; Keith Monteith and friend Heather of Franklin;and Mike Monteith of Hayesville N.C.; ten grand children;twelve great grand children an two great great grand children also survive

Memorial Services will be held Monday, February 13, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Bryant-Grant Funeral Home in Franklin.

Memorial donations can be made to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital Tribute Program, 501 St,. Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105-1942.
