Jeremy Eugene Griffin

Franklin, NC - Jeremy Eugene Griffin, age 81, of Franklin, NC, passed away Tuesday, August 16, 2011 in Morganton, NC. He was born in Toledo, Ohio, the son of the late George S. and Pearl Donauga Griffin.

He was married to the late Ruth Angel Griffin, who passed away April 4, 2011. He was a US Navy Veteran, serving during the Korean War. He was a self employed construction worker, he loved animals and was of the Baptist Faith. He is survived by several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Friday, August 19th at 3:30 pm in the Chapel of Bryant Grant Funeral Home, with Rev. Alton Dendy officiating. Burial will be at Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jim Graham, Isaac Gibson, J.D. Gibson, Mike Mincey, Jody Spradlin, Mike Holland, and Steve Angel.

The family will receive friends from 2:30 to 3:30 pm, one hour prior to the service Friday.
