Jerry Ray Spivey
Jerry Ray Spivey, age 71, of Sylva, NC, passed away Friday, February 3, 2017. He was born in Columbus County, NC, the son of the late Henry Arthur Spivey and Beulah Graham Spivey. Mr. Spivey had worked for Wells Fargo Bank and was a Baptist by faith.
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Spivey of Sylva, NC; a son Jerry Dewayne Spivey (Minney) of Riegelwood, NC; a half‑brother, Earl Spivey of Holden Beach, NC. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step‑son, Keith Spivey.
