Jessie Mae Webb

Franklin, NC - Jessie Mae Webb, age 89, of Franklin, NC passed away Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at the Sylva hospital. She was born in Macon County, the daughter of the late Bill and Nobie Barnard. She had careers in both the home and industry, rising to the level of executive secretary. She was a member of Iotla Baptist Church. She loved the Lord, and was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was an avid reader, faithful sister and longtime Franklin and Atlanta resident.

She is survived by a daughter, Kathy Mabry and her husband, Robert of Huntington Beach, CA; two sons, William Hudson Webb Jr. and his wife, Jane of Fairfax, VA and Jeffrey Randolph Webb of Newnan, GA; two sisters, Vera Rogers of Franklin, NC and Violet Smith of Asheville, NC; nine grandchildren, Kyme Chiapuzio, John Mabry, Jodi Libasci, Lee Mabry, Andrew Mabry, John Webb, James Webb, Jacob Webb and Amy Webb, and three great grandchildren, Chelsea Chiapuzio, Cohen and Brody Libasci. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a daughter, Glenna Judy and a brother, Ray Barnard.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 30, at 11:00 am in the Chapel of Bryant Grant Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Reeves and Rev. Donna Cobb officiating. Burial will be in Iotla Methodist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Hudson Webb, Jeff Webb, James Webb, Jeremy Libasci, Jim Rogers and Jim Mabry.

The family will receive friends Saturday, from 10:00 11:00 am, one hour prior to the service, at the funeral home.
