Jim Howell Bichard

Franklin, NC - Jim Howell Bichard, age 72, of Franklin, NC, formerly of Orlando, FL, passed away Tuesday, November 29, 2011. Born in Cross City, FL, he was the son of the late John Thomas and Carl Spivey Bichard. He was married to Nancy Tyson Bichard for 22 years. Howell was a supervisor in the steel manufacturing industry; he loved NASCAR, fishing, hunting and wood-turning.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a step-daughter, Shannon Niedenthal and husband John of St. Cloud, FL; three sons, Scott Howell Bichard of Crossville, TN, Michael Andrew Bichard and wife Becky of Orlando, FL, and John Thomas Bichard of St. Cloud, FL; a step-son, Scott Allen and wife Shannon of St. Cloud, FL and one brother, Carl Benny Bichard of Crossville, TN. Seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild also survive. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, John Royce Bichard and Robert O’Neil Bichard.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 3, 2011 at 3:00 PM in the Chapel of Bryant-Grant Funeral Home with Rev. Vic Greene officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 2:00 until 3:00 PM, one hour prior to the service, at the funeral home.
