Jimmy Ray Waller

Highlands, NC - Jimmy Ray Waller, age 74, of Highlands, NC passed away Friday, October 24, 2014 at his residence. He was a native of Macon County, the son of the late Albert Alvin and Ruth Shipman Waller. He was a veteran of the US Navy and was a member of Highlands United Methodist Church. He was a painter, liked to golf and was a diehard Carolina Tar Heel fan.

He is survived by his sisters, Margie Walcavich of Maryland and Anne Calloway of Clayton, GA. Several nieces and nephews also survive. He was preceded in death by a sister, Eileen Moore and brothers, Kenny Waller, Joe Waller, Lendal Waller and Billy Waller.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.
