Joan Crawford Mashburn

Mrs. Joan Crawford Mashburn, 86, passed away Thursday, December 18, 2025, surrounded by her family. Mrs. Crawford was born September 6, 1939, in Andrews, NC to the late Charles Willard Crawford and Wilma Morrow Crawford.

Mrs. Joan worked and retired from nursing. She was of the Methodist faith and attended the West Franklin Baptist Church with her husband Roy. She loved to collect all kinds of rocks and what-nots. She was an avid reader, loved going to Myrtle Beach, and loved her God babies.

Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Roy Mashburn; four Godchildren, Misty Peterson Chandler (Jeremy)Mark Peterson (Jane), Deidra Holland, and Nancy Beth Holland Breedlove (Brandon); three God grandchildren, Ashleigh Snyder (Zeb), Brooklyn Hensley (Michael), and Alyssa Peterson; and five great God children, Carleigh Peterson, Paisleigh Peterson, Lane Snyder, Eliza Peterson, and Oliver Hensley.

In addition to her parents, Joan was preceded in death by one Godchild, David Holland.

A private burial will be held after Christmas in Andrews, NC.
