John Thomas Chocklette

John Thomas Chocklette, 74, of Franklin, NC, passed away Wednesday, August 1, 2018.  He was born in Dauphin, PA the son of the late Harold and Anna Catherine Troutman Chocklette.  On July 15, 1969 Mr. Chocklette was a part of the Apollo 11 Lunar Spacecraft Recovery.  He was aboard the USS Hornet (CVS-12).  He served 10 years in the US Navy and worked many years for the telephone industry.

He is survived by his loving wife, Laura Ann White of the home and family and faithful dogs, Choxie, Angel, and Missy.
