John Austin Hampton
John Austin Hampton, 75, passed away November 2, 2015. John was born March 18, 1940 in Millinocket, ME to Milton C. Hampton and Christine Harmon Hampton. John was married to the late Emma Dorothy Pruitt Hampton for 35 years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and was of the Christian faith.
Survivors include a daughter, Carrie Ives (Phillip) of Franklin; one sister, Nancy Hampton of Huntsville, Alabama; three granddaughters, Lea Banther (Bob), Sebrina Yqlesias (Kyle Davidson); and Lora Robin and her fiancé, Robert Scott; and five great‑grandchildren, McKayla, Brayzen, Luke, Kyler, and Rolland.
A memorial service will be held Friday, March 4, 2016 at 1:00 P.M. at the Bryant‑Grant Funeral Home Chapel. The family will greet friends following the service at the funeral home.
