John "Johnny" Jesse Hill

John "Johnny" Jesse Hill, 69, of Franklin, NC, passed away June 1, 2025. Johnny was born September 30, 1955, in Buford, SC, to the late William E. Hill and Eva Mae Hill Bowling.

Mr. Hill worked in the aluminum industry and was a Presbyterian by faith.  He loved life and was a loving husband, father and grandfather.  He enjoyed golfing, gardening, and doing anything outside. He coached baseball and was a Florida Gators fan. He loved the mountains especially going to Cades Cove and camping with his wife and family on the 4th of July. He also loved to travel and had been on  trips to Alaska as well as trips to Paris, France and Switzerland.

Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Glenna Hill, children, Tasha Hynson (Scott), Jonathan Hill (Kristi), Erin St. Pierre (Kyle), and Ryan Hill; grandchildren, Tyler Hynson, Aleah Hynson, Khloe Hill, Jayci Hill, and Jackson Hill; siblings, Robert Hill and Scott Hill; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, William Hill and Kenneth Hill.
