John W. Ledbetter

Waterford MI & Franklin - John W. Ledbetter of Waterford, MI, age 56, passed away peacefully on the evening of January 2, 2011. John was born January 14, 1954 and is survived by his mother Louise, his brother Bobbie (Dee-Dee), his four children Ali Reickel (Rick), Lia, Tami Damiani (Matt), John and his three grandchildren Richard, Tucker and Alex. Preceded in death by his father Bobbie and brother Bill. John devoted 34 years of his life to General Motors. He loved his family more than words could ever express. John will forever be known for his ability to fix anything, his sense of humor and his kind generous heart. His time came too soon and he will be missed dearly. May he rest in peace and dance with the Angels in heaven. A Celebration of John’s Life will be held Thursday, January 6, 2011 7:30 p.m. at Donelson, Johns and Evans Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at Donelson, Johns and Evans Funeral Home, Thursday 3 p.m. until time of the service.

Local funeral services will be held Sunday, January 9, 2011 at 2:00 pm at Dryman’s Chapel United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00pm, Saturday evening at Bryant-Grant Funeral Home. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
