Joy Lee (Johnson) Sloope

Joy Lee Johnson Sloope and Caleb Alexander Marx Sloope passed away together on Wednesday, August 5, 2015.

Joy worked in a local convenience store for many years and loved spending time with family. She is survived by her father, Ronnie Johnson; three daughters, Charlene, Cameron and Christian Sloope; one son, Colton Sloope; three sisters, Bonnie Weeks, Connie Lantroop and Karen Bishop.  Joy was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony Alan Sloope and her mother, Patricia “Pat” Joyce Johnson.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held for Joy and Caleb on Saturday, August 15, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Pine Grove Baptist Church. Rev. Charles Stephens and Rev. Greg Rogers will officiate. The family will receive friends from 12:30 – 2:00 pm, prior to the service at the church.
