Joy Stockton Still

Joy Stockton Still, 91, of Highlands, NC, passed away Sunday, September 20, 2026. She was born October 29, 1934 in Augusta, GA to the late Hal Stockton and Rosamund Hughes Stockton. Mrs. Still was an active member of Highlands United Methodist Church, where she helped with funeral meals and was in charge of the prayer ministry. Mrs. Still owned Brush Strokes Boutique from 1982 until 2001. She loved her family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roy M. Still; and two sisters, Joan Scudder and Betty Kizer.

Survivors include her daughter, Meridith Watson (Terry); two grandchildren, Heather Felder (Michael) and Andrew Watson; two great-grandchildren, Grady Felder and Greer Felder; and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held Friday, September 24, 2026 at 11:30 am at Highlands United Methodist Church, with Rev. Randy Lucus officiating. Burial will follow at Highlands Memorial Park Cemetery.
