Joyce Elaine Tucker Cabe

Franklin, NC - Joyce Elaine Tucker Cabe, age 61, of Franklin, NC passed away Monday, October 8, 2012.

Born in Bibb County, GA, she was the daughter of Terry Matthew and Beryl Joyce Brantley Carswell of Lizella. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and enjoyed crocheting, collecting Native American figurines and reading.

Mrs. Cabe is survived by her husband of five years, Dan Cabe; one daughter, Lori Joyce Parker of Franklin, NC; three sons, Tripp Lester Parker of Franklin, NC, William Curtis Parker and wife Sandy of Chattanooga, TN and Richard Herman Parker and wife Brandi of Franklin, NC; two brothers, Ronnie Joe Tucker of Dalton, GA and Michael Lee Tucker of Gray, GA; eight grandchildren, Elizabeth, Branden, Curt, Jr., Justin, Cory, Destiny, Brandon and Brittany, and six great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 11, 2012 at 1:00 pm in the Chapel of Bryant Grant Funeral Home with Rev. Doug Carpenter officiating. Burial will be in Cowee Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Mike Tucker, Dan Cabe, Tripp Parker, Donald Cabe, Mike Cabe and Ellis Raby.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 12:00 1:00 pm, one hour prior to the service, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Angel Hospice, 70 Church Street, Franklin, NC 28734
