June Ellen Perkins Mccall

Franklin, NC - June Ellen Perkins McCall, age 66, of Franklin, NC passed away Friday, July 18, 2014. She was born in Union Lake, MI, the daughter of the late Leon Perkins and Victoria Markam Perkins. She was married to Gerald McCall for 46 years. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Winchester, OH and was a manager at Dollar General Store. She liked to fish and she was loved by everyone and will be greatly missed.

In addition to her husband, Gerald, she is survived by two daughters, Tabatha Goodman of Franklin, NC and Judy Sneed and husband Mike of Charleston, WV; one step daughter, Tammy Hadley and husband Mark of Tampa, FL; one son, Scott Perkins of Punta Gorda, FL; one step son, Tommy Berghswinger of Sterling Heights, MI; two sisters, Sharon Elliott of West Branch, MI and Judy Debore of Flint MI; one brother, Edgar Perkins of Pontiac, MI; four grandchildren, Robert Goodman, Amanda Simmons, Heather Sneed and Jasmyn Westover; one great grandchild, Tyler Simmons; two step grandchildren, Paige and Taylor Hadley, and one step great grandchild, Adain Hadley.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, July 22 in the Chapel of Bryant Grant Funeral Home with Rev. Radford Penland and Rev. Matt Morris officiating. Burial will be in Sugarfork Baptist Church Cemetery. Raymond Holland, Ted Jackson, Bruce Holland, Lyman Holland, Randy Davis and Ken Rueckert will serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends Monday, July 21 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Bryant Grant Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 120 Executive Park, Bldg. 1, Asheville, NC 28801.
