Kathleen Ann Gentry

Mrs. Kathleen Ann Woodnutt Gentry, 77, of Franklin, NC passed away on October 22, 2026. She was born August 11, 1949, to the late Charles Edward Woodnutt and Clara Marie Razete.

Kathleen was of the Catholic faith and worked as a CNA. She valued family time greatly, especially when it came to spending time with her three sisters or her kids and grandchildren. Kathleen enjoyed being a caregiver of her friends and family. She also loved to watch Soap's and cooking.

In addition to her parents, Kathleen was preceded in death by her husband, James "Sonny" Arnold.

Her survivors include her children, Tammy Browning, Rodney Browning (Heather), Teresa Arnold (Wayne), and Amie Collins (Ronnie); her grandchildren, Shelby Moore, Carly Arnold, Taylor Quick, Tori Bass, James Gallagher, Kelsi Rodriguez, Kaitlyn Rodriguez, Michael Madden, Tyler Collins, Bradley Collins, and Ryan Collins; her great-grandchildren, Garrison, Bodhi, Annabelle, Leighton, Cypress, Jamesyn, unborn great grandson Westyn, Kinlee, Brayden, and Rylee; and her sisters, Sheila, Brenda, and Margie.

A funeral service will be held Sunday, November 1, 2026, in The Grant Chapel of Bryant-Grant Funeral Home at 2:00 PM with Rev. Jason Justus officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 - 2:00 PM prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Longview Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Rodney Browning, Ronnie Collins, Michael Madden, Tyler Collins, Bradley Collins, and Ryan Collins.
