Keith Douglas Lakey

Demorest GA - Funeral services for Keith Douglas Lakey, age 62, of Demorest will be held on Saturday, August 9, 2014 at 2:00 PM from the Hillside Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow the service in Oak Grove Baptist Cemetery in Franklin, North Carolina. The family will receive friends at the the funeral home on Friday, August 8, 2014 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

Mr. Lakey died Wednesday, August 6, 2014.

Born in Clayton on May 11, 1952, Mr. Lackey was the son of the late C. D. and Norva Tabor Lakey. He was a truck driver with PFG - Milton Foods. In addition to his parents, Mr. Lakey is preceded in death by brother Donald Lakey. He was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church.

Survivors include his son and daughter in law Neal and Gina Lakey of Mt. Airy, his ex-wife Gladys Norris Lakey of Demorest, brother and sister in law Gary and Jeannette Lakey of Franklin, NC, sister in law Dianne of Franklin, NC, and grandchildren Madison, Hunter, and Westin Lakey.
