Kenneth Rogers Mccall

Franklin, NC - Kenneth Rogers McCall, age 70, of Franklin, NC passed away Monday, November 30, 2009 at a Sylva Hospital. He was a native of Macon County, NC the son of the late George H. and Floy Jean Southards McCall. He worked in the Bridge Department for the NC DOT. He was a member of Rose Creek Baptist Church and he loved fishing, collecting guns, caps and knives.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Lucille Pickens McCall; three daughters, Vicki Giesy, Debbie Albrecht and her husband, Mark and Lori McCall all of Franklin, NC; one son, Randall McCall of Franklin, NC; five sisters, Margaret Sanders, Cora Mae MacMurray, Dorothy Deitz, Karen Carnes, and Mildred Giles all of Franklin, NC; one brother, Dallas McCall of Franklin, NC; six grandchildren, Tiffani and Tanyr Giesy, Tyler and Caleb Albrecht and Kristen and Hailey McCall. He was preceded in death by a brother, Bill McCall.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 2 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Bryant-Grant Funeral Home with Rev. Morris Tippett and Rev. Cadon Fouts officiating. Burial will be held at Moore-Welch Cemetery. Chuck Brooks, Scott Lewis, Skip Sanders, Adam Tallent, Corey Phillips and Mark Corbin will serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, December 1 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Bryant-Grant Funeral Home.
