Kibby Luther Henry

Kibby Luther Henry, 75, of Franklin passed away on Monday, August 29, 2016.  Born in Macon County, he was the son of the late Spear and Dessie Ramey Henry. He was married to Sandra Marlene Henry who preceded him in death in 2009.

He was a carpenter for many years. He loved sports and seeing his grandchildren play.  He was of the Baptist faith.

Mr. Henry is survived by two daughters, Cindy McGaha (Mark) and Ronda Henry all of Franklin; one son, Kibby Luther Henry, Jr. (Jody) of Franklin; nine grandchildren, Marlene Mize, Joey Gibson, Dana Dowdy, Jessica McGaha, J. D. Henry, Brandon Henry, Makayla Henry, Leah Henry and Daylon Henry and seven great‑grandchildren, John Henry, Trey Mize, Ayden Mize, Calliope Mize, Camden Mize, Danica Dowdy and Justin Henry.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 3, 2016 at 11:00 am in the chapel of Bryant‑Grant Funeral Home with Rev. Oliver Rice officiating. Burial will follow in Blue Valley Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6 ‑ 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
