Larry Franklin Phillips

Franklin, NC - Larry Franklin Phillips (Shag), age 64, of Franklin, NC, passed away February 8, 2012. He was the son of the late Roberta and Edward Phillips. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Elaine Phillips.

He is survived by two daughters, Veronica Young (Heath) of Acworth, GA and Crystal Johnson (David) of Woodstock, GA; three grandsons, Aiden, Case, and Jonathan; two brothers, Gary Phillips (Gail) of Conyers, GA and Roger Phillips (Louise); two sisters, Bernice Mathis (Grady) of Franklin and Judie Johnson (Danny) of Franklin and his lifetime friend, Linda Staffelback of Franklin. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, March 10, 2012 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Bryant Grant Funeral Home, with Rev. Clifford Patterson officiating. Burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery.
