Larry Roger Stockton

Larry Roger Stockton, 79, of Alto, Georgia passed away Tuesday, January 19, 2016 in a Georgia hospital.  Born in Macon Co., he was the son of the late Archie and Bertha Street Stockton.

Mr. Stockton was a loving husband, father and grandfather who liked to do carpenter work and hunt.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Wall Stockton; one daughter, Alicia Morris (Terry) of Lavonia, GA; three step‑daughters, Claudette Whitmire Woods (Aubrey), Cathie Eidson (Bill) and Lucille Schmaliy; two sons, Roger Stockton and Randy Stockton (Terrie) all of Alto, GA and one step‑son, Loyd Ray McKay; one sister, Brenda Bowers of Franklin; three grandchildren, Tiffany Peek, Joy Phongsavanh and Priscilla Ruff; five step‑grandchildren, Michelle Hopkins, Alyssa Mullins, Ryan Williamson, Lindsay Schmaliy and Leslie McKay; six great grandchildren, Cole Morris, Hailey Peek, Dominic, Kelsie and Merissa Phongsavanh and Emma Ruff and one step‑great‑grandchild.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Geraldine Cunningham.

A funeral service will be held Thursday, January 21, 2016 at 2:30 pm in the chapel of Bryant‑Grant Funeral Home with Rev. Terry Morris officiating.  Pallbearers will be Zeb Peek, Rodney Phongsavanh, Chris Ruff, Aubrey Woods and Lloyd McKay.  The family will receive friends Thursday from 12:00 ‑ 2:30 pm at Bryant‑Grant Funeral Home.
