Lassie Louise Norton

Acworth, GA - Lassie Louise Norton, age 82, of Acworth, GA, formerly of Macon County,NC, passed away Friday,September 17, 2010 in Atlanta, GA. She was a native of Macon County, the daughter of the late Frank and Rosie Nix McCall. She was married to the the late Edwin "Bud" Norton She had recently retired after 41 years as a clerk in retail clothing.

She is survived by one daughter, Christine Wentz and her husband David of Acworth, GA; a son, Eddie Norton of Georgia, a brother, Elmer McCall of Franklin, NC; five grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 22nd at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Bryant-Grant Funeral Home, with Rev. Alton Dendy and Rev. Roy Lowe officiating. Burial will be in Scaly Mountain Methodist Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Robert Petrecca, Adam Wentz, Mike Crisp, Chuck Crisp, Clyde McCall and Bill McConnell.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 pm Wednesday, one hour prior to the service at Bryant-Grant Funeral Home.
