Laura (Cantal) Moore

Mrs. Laura Cantal Moore, 72, passed away Friday, February 7, 2025, after braving a long battle with multiple co-existing health conditions. She showed an extraordinary ability to endure pain and hardship with hardly any complaint. Even in the face of tremendous suffering, she maintained a quiet strength and dignity that inspired those around her.

Mrs. Moore was born October 19, 1952, in Cebu City, Philippines to the late Narciso P. Cantal and Estelita M. Cantal.

She earned a Bachler Degree from a college in the Philippines. She was a great cook and loved to work in her flower garden. She was a loving wife, mother, and homemaker. She was of the Roman Catholic Faith.

Survivors include her husband, Carroll Moore; a daughter, Christy Moore; a stepson, Barry Moore: brothers and sisters, Redempto M. Cantal, Narciso M. Cantal Jr., Exuperia C Brizo, Maria Nerlgie M. Foote, Lucresia C. Denson, Leonisa C. Barrett, Andrew M. Cantal, and Pacita C. Windsor.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Moore was preceded in death by a brother, Gildardo M. Cantal.

A graveside service will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, February 11, 2025, at the Moore-Welch Cemetery with the Rev. Ronnie Branson officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday before the graveside at Bryant-Grant Funeral Home from 9:30-10:30 AM.
