Lee Anne Perry

 Lee Anne Woodyard Perry passed away peacefully on July 4, 2025 at her residence. Born in Nutley, NJ on October 3, 1947. Lee was the daughter of the late Pauline Adele (Tench) and Hubert Rudolph Woodyard.

Among her many successes in life included being a mother to a daughter and two sons, a grandmother of three, and a great grandmother of five. In her spare time her entrepreneurial spirit led her to open a clothing store, a hair salon and a candy store. Her ever-present gentle and joking spirit always had a kind word or brought a quick smile to those she met in life. Though Lee was raised in Florida, her love for the mountains of North Carolina became her home where she has spent a good portion of her life.

Lee was preceded in death by her parents Adele and Hubert Woodyard, her husband Don Perry, her daughter Lisa Wright, her sons Stuart Neely and Robert Wright, and her brother Jon Woodyard.

Lee is survived by her sisters Jeri Bland and Bonnie Woodyard; her brothers Chris Woodyard (Carol) and Scott Woodyard; her very best dear friend Rod Swanson; her daughter in law Karissa and many grand kids, great grand kids, nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held 12:30 PM Sunday, July 27, 2025, at the Walnut Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Mike Wilson officiating.
