We would like to express our gratitude to Dad's community for wrapping him in so much love he never wanted to leave. This support allowed him to grow old independently in the mountains he loved. "Two tired eyes are sleeping, two willing hands are still. For now he is resting as is God's will. You never said goodbye to us, perhaps it's just as well, we never could have said good bye to the one we loved so well."
Contributions in his memory may be made to Grace Community Church, Cashiers, North Carolina.
