Lilla Ann Crusoe, 81, of Highlands, NC, passed away Monday, March 9, 2026. She was born January 17, 1945, in Key West, Florida, to the late Samuel Guy Phillips and Lilla Ann Gomez Phillips.

Ann was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was a school teacher in the early 70s and later worked for Sears in Homestead, Florida. Before moving to the mountains, she moved to Key West where she met and married her husband, Jack. Ann was an office manager for TCI Cable Company. She loved working with children and volunteering at the bird sanctuary. Ann loved antiques and had a booth at the Whistle Stop. She loved dogs, gardening, cooking, being on the water, especially ocean fishing and going to the ramp fest with her husband Jack in Franklin. Later moving to Taylors, SC where she was a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church.

Survivors include her daughter, Lisa Wilson (Edwin); son, Michael Barnes; granddaughter, Leslie Wilson Bradham (Paul); great-grandchildren, Sarah Kate Bradham and Kelsey Ann Bradham; a sister, Deborah Phillips Bryant; and a brother, Raymond Guy Phillips.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Ray Crusoe.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the nurses and staff of Eckerd Living Center for the wonderful care they gave Ann over the past four years.
