Lillie Ginger (Hughes) Furlough

Lillie Ginger Furlough, age 93, of Otto, NC, passed away Monday, November 16, 2015.  She was born in Dorchester, SC, the daughter of the late Eugene Chapman and Ruth Green Hughes.  She was preceded in death by her first husband,  Robert Hugh Stanley and her second husband,  Joseph Frank Furlough.    She was a homemaker and a member of Dillard United Methodist Church.  She  volunteered at Angel Medical Center.  In addition to her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Shanna Evelyn Stanley, a sister, Vashti Moorer and  two brothers, Samuel  W. Hughes and Justin W. Hughes.

She is survived by a daughter, Sandra K. Green and her husband Dale Alan Green of Mt. Pleasant, SC; a son, Robert Hugh Stanley, II and his wife Sally of Otto, NC; ten grandchildren and twenty‑four great‑grandchildren; a brother, Delbert O. Hughes and his wife Ruth of Ridgeville, SC.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 21, 2015 at Dillard United Methodist Church at 2:00 pm, with Rev. Chuck Stutsman officiating.  The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 2:00 pm Saturday prior to the service.  A private burial will be held in Ridgeville, SC.
