Franklin, NC - Linda Jean Queen Blaine, age 48, of Rabbit Creek Road, Franklin, NC, passed away Sunday, May 1, 2011 at her residence. She was a native of Macon County, the daughter of Laura Jean Waldroop Queen of Franklin, and the late Paul Queen. She is survived by her husband of 21 years, Kenneth P. Blaine. She worked at Mountain Press as a film developer. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, and of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her mother and husband, she is survived by two daughters, April Blaine and Crystal Fields both of Franklin, NC; a son, Ronnie Queen of Franklin, NC; two sisters, Teresa Estes of Franklin, NC and Kim Griffin of Bryson City, NC; one brother, Larry Queen of Franklin, NC; five grandchildren, Sean Dunn Jr., Zachary Queen, Garrett Fields, Dillon Queen and Chloe Lambert also survives.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 3rd at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Bryant-Grant Funeral Home, with Rev. Robert Dryman officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ronnie Queen, Keith Queen, Thomas Clark, Jamie Estes, Jake Cloud and Ricky Blaine.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 pm, one hour prior to the service at Bryant-Grant Funeral Home.
