Lois Elizabeth Reckenwald

Franklin, NC - Lois Elizabeth Reckenwald, 88, of Franklin, NC passed away Friday, December 19, 2014. Born in Rockville, CT, she was the daughter of the late Howard B. and Alice Mead Carpenter. She was an executive secretary in the trucking industry and was affiliated with Congregational Church. She was an avid gardener; liked interior decorating, cooking and traveling. She was a great conversationalist.

Mrs. Reckenwald is survived by two daughters, Jeanette Crosby of N. Quincy, MA and Carol Kegler of Jackson Heights, NY; two sons, Robert Kegler of Saco, ME and Randall Kegler of Inverness, FL; three grandchildren, Kimberly, Matthew and Evan and one great grandchild, Kyle.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.
