Lola Helen (Waldroop) Wilson

Lola Helen Wilson, age 65, of Franklin, NC, passed away Thursday, March 24, 2016.  She was born in Macon County the daughter of Ethel Lois Jones Waldroop of Franklin, NC and the late Oran Roosevelt Waldroop.  She was a homemaker, she loved to fish and was a member of Tellico Baptist Church.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by two daughters, Edith Tallent (Kenny)  of Franklin, NC and Jennifer Loving (Phillip) of Blontville, TN; sons, George Jenkins (Tonda) and Daniel Jenkins (Judy) all of Franklin, NC; brother, James Lee Waldroop; eleven grandchildren and ten great‑grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by a half‑brother, Charles Monroe Bateman.

Funeral services will be held Monday, March 28, 2016 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Bryant‑Grant Funeral Home with Rev. Gary McCoy and Rev. Morris Tippett officiating.  The family will receive friends Monday from 12:30‑2:00 pm, prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Tellico Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, c/o Sherry Ammons, 36 Icenhower Dr., Franklin, NC  28734.
