Lou Ann (Lee) Dowling

Lou Ann Dowling, 60, of Franklin, NC, passed away March 11, 2024.  She was born October 3, 1963, in Springfield, Ohio to the late Clifford J. Lee and Betty Lou Trumbo Lee.

Mrs. Dowling earned her bachelor's degree and worked in the medical field where she excelled at her work.  Lou was gentle, kind and patient, she raised her four children and was an exceptional mother.  She loved to craft, stain glass and play with her grandchildren; she also loved to decorate for all types of holidays, and she loved horses.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Dowling, her daughters, Julia Dowling (Benjamin Williams), Jennifer Dowling, Marilyn Dowling and Emilee Dowling; grandchildren, Parker Starling and Adalee Wuisman; sister, Sue Summerall (Earl).

A private family service will be held at a later date.
