Louise J. (Justice) Ledbetter

Louise J. Ledbetter of Waterford, MI was called home to heaven on the evening of Wednesday, July 15, 2015. We believe she fell asleep dreaming of her husband and her sons, who are already in heaven. They must have lifted her soul and carried her away to join them in love, laughter and peace; Age 88; born March 25, 1927 in Franklin, NC. Daughter of the late James and Tolede Justice; wife of the late Bobbie T. Ledbetter; loving and proud mother of Bobbie Ledbetter, Jr. (DeeDee) and the late John and Bill Ledbetter; grandmother of Kim, Gina, Joey, Ali, Jimmy, Lia, Jeremy, Tami and Johnny; great-grandmother of 15; great-great-grandmother of 2; sister of Jean Moore Raby (Al) and the late Edith, James "Slick" and Tom; also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and close friends. Mrs. Ledbetter owned and operated Eatmore Restaurant for many years. She was a caring and giving person who tried to take care of everyone. Her sharp tongue and witty remarks made anyone who knew her laugh. Louise loved to cook for her family and was a loving grandmother who lived for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. It was a pleasure to visit with Louise, no matter how long you stayed she would say "stay awhile longer". We wish she could have stayed awhile longer. She will be missed so much by so many. A Celebration of Louise’s Life will be held Sunday, July 19, 2015, 4:00 p.m. at Donelson, Johns and Evans Funeral Home, Waterford. Rev. Lewis Ledbetter officiating. Interment Dryman’s United Methodist Church Cemetery, Otto, North Carolina. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday 1:00 p.m. until the time of service. A funeral service will be held Friday, July 24, 2015, 2:00 p.m. at Dryman’s Chapel United Methodist Church, Otto, NC.
