Lvera Louise (Piles) Sheffield

Lvera Piles Sheffield, age 91, of Maryville Tennessee (formally of Franklin, North Carolina) passed away on Saturday, August 11, 2018. She was a member of Snow Hill United Methodist Church since 1956 where she taught children’s classes, was Sunday School Superintendent and participated in United Methodist Women.  Lvera and her late husband, Ed Sheffield were owners and operators of Franklin Power Saw Service. Lvera was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ed Sheffield, parents Andrew and Emma Worley Piles and nine brothers and sisters.  Survivors include her daughters and spouses, Nancy and Mike Healy, Maryville Tennessee, Jean Anne and David Gant, Rock Hill, South Carolina; Grandchildren, Ed (Andrea) Gant, Hendersonville, North Carolina,  Andrew (Angelia) Healy,  Brevard, North Carolina, Martha (Steven) Walker, Selma, North Carolina, Angelia (Tre’) Wright , Senoia, Georgia and Emily (Robert) Coffey of Fort Mill, South Carolina; nine great grandchildren, Caleb, Lillianna , Cody, Jonas, and Weston Walker, Georgia and Cambelle Healy, Presley and Bryson Wright; and many special nieces, nephews, friends and caregivers. The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 18, 2018 from 6 until 8 pm at Bryant- Grant Funeral Home 105 West Main Street, Franklin, North Carolina. Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm Sunday, August 19, 2018 at the Snow Hill United Methodist Church with Rev. Clark Sheffield officiating. Interment will follow the service at Snow Hill Methodist Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be: Robert Coffey David and Ed Gant, Mike and Andrew Healy, K.C. Rucker, Steven Walker, and Tre’ Wright.
