Lydia Frances (Henry) Conley

Lydia Frances Henry Conley, 79, of Franklin passed away Wednesday, October 14, 2015.  Born in Macon County, she was a daughter of the late Grady James and Eula Edna Houston Henry.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great‑grandmother.  She was a member of Bible Baptist Church where she was a Sunday school teacher and choir member.  She took great joy in her family and loved her church family and attending church.

Mrs. Conley is survived by her husband of 59 years, Charles Adolph Conley; one daughter, Linda Kay Conley Holland (Craig) of Franklin; two sons, Dennis Lee Conley (Sallie) and Calvin Charles Conley (Nathalie) of Franklin; two sisters, Stella Young and Carrie Lee Cook (Richard) of Franklin; three brothers, Conrad Henry, Riley Henry (Wanda) and Warren Henry (Sue) of Franklin; seven grandchildren, Jessica Conley Willis (Justin); Stefanie Conley; Courtney Conley Gates (Jared), Ryan Conley, Tyler Holland, Samantha Holland and Kayla Holland; one great‑grandchild, Reid Willis and a number of nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, October 17, 2015 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Bryant‑Grant Funeral with Rev. Roy Hogan officiating.  Burial will follow in Carson Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Ryan Conley, Tyler Holland, Justin Willis, Jared Gates, Michael Henry and Bruce Conley.  Reid Willis will serve as honorary pallbearer.  The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6 ‑ 8:00 pm at Bryant‑Grant Funeral Home.
