Mack William Lewis

Franklin, NC - Mack William Lewis, age 75, of Lewis Rd., Franklin, NC passed away Tuesday, December 28, 2010 in a local hospital. A native of Macon County, NC he was the son of the late Oscar William and Vashtie Kiser Lewis. He was married to Frances McClure Lewis for fifty-two years. He was a machine operator in the textile industry.

In addition to his wife he is survived by one daughter, Missy Ledford and husband Denny of Franklin, NC; two sons, Mackie and Keith Lewis both of Franklin, NC; three sisters, Alice Coss, Mary Brooks and Babs Neely all of Frankln, NC. Two grandchildren, Dale Lewis and Samantha Ledford, one step-grandchild, Luke Hunter and 1 great-grandchild, Rylee Rogers also survive.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 30, 2010 at 2:30 pm in the Chapel of Bryant-Grant Funeral Home with Rev. Don Moffitt officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Denny Ledford, Jim Williams, Dale Lewis, Luke Hunter, Tim Neely and Ross Shields. Honorary pallbearers will be Mark Dowdle, Dick Mashburn, Robert Wallace, Shorty Bateman and Raymond Shepherd. The family will receive friends from 1:30 - 2:30 pm, one hour prior to the service, at Bryant-Grant Funeral Home.
