Malcolm L. Cail, Jr., 74, went home to be with the Lord Thursday, November 13, 2025. He was born January 10, 1951, in Savannah, GA to the late Malcolm L. Cail, Sr. and Jamie Parrish Cail.
Mr. Cail was a Godly man and attended Longview Baptist Church. Malcolm served in the Navy in the Sea Bees and was a member of the American Legion Post 553 in Otto, NC. A master at chess, Malcolm was a Jack of all trades, a handyman, and a superhero to his kids. During his long career Mr. Cail was a police officer for seven years in Providence, RI and Effingham Co., GA, as well as a certified correctional officer in Chatham Co., GA. He also worked as master electrician and as the superintendent of wastewater conveyance in Savannah, GA. Malcolm cherished his wife Debra and was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.
Malcolm is survived by his wife of 49 years, Debra; three sons, Patrick Cail, Joshua Cail (Jessica), and Malcolm Cail, Jr. (Brianna); seven grandchildren, Joshua Cail, Jr., Ashtin Cail, Tucker Cail, Alyssa Cail, Daegan Cail, Brayden Edwards, and Hunter Edwards; a sister, Linda Sherrod (Buster); a brother, David Cail (Chantal); as well as several nieces and cousins.
