Franklin, NC - Margaret Pauline Crisp Holland, 76, of Franklin passed away Tuesday, March 26, 2013. Born in Macon County, she was the daughter of the late John Parker and Minnie Mae Henry Crisp.
Mrs. Holland was a seamstress and sewing instructor for 10 years at SCC, and a dedicated member of Sugarfork Baptist Church where she was a Sunday school teacher for several years. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Earl Leonard Holland; three daughters, Becky H. Hurst and husband Billy, Nancy H. Dills and husband Ronnie and Sherry H. Brewer and husband Rick all of Franklin; one brother, Earl Crisp of Franklin; seven grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two sisters, Maybelle C. Thomas and Louise C. Collier, and eight brothers, Wayne, Harvie, Lewie, Carl, Truman, Claude, Charles and Willie Crisp.
Funeral services will be held Friday, March 29, at 3:00 pm at Sugarfork Baptist Church with Rev. Gene Hawkins, Rev. Steve Reeves and Rev. Alton Dendy officiating. Burial will be in Sugarfork Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Scottie Thomas, Richmond Crisp, Robert Crisp, Vicky Thomas, Doyle Fox, and Bill Allen.
The family will receive friends Friday from 2:00-3:00 pm, one hour prior to the service, at the church.
