Margaret Louise Childers

Margaret Louise Childers, 80, of Easley, SC, formerly of Franklin, passed away Friday, August 9, 2019.  She was born March 10, 1939 in Macon County to the late Walter Hopper Johnson and Laura Ellen Ledbetter Johnson. Mrs. Childers was a member of Franklin Church of God.  She loved flowers, watercolor painting and bird watching.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Childers; daughter, Renea Childers and three brothers, Billy, Daniel and Burt Johnson.

Survivors include sons, Robert Childers of Canton, NC and Michael Childers (Corie) of Franklin, NC; grandchildren, Alyssa And Chase Childers both of Franklin, NC; sister, Eva Nell Clouse of Franklin, NC.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, August 14, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Bon‑A‑Venture Cemetery in Canton, NC.
