Margaret Edythe Macdonald

Franklin/Sylva, NC - Margaret Edythe MacDonald, age 93, of Garland Buchanan Rd., Sylva, NC passed away Sunday, November 21, 2010 in a Franklin care center. Born in Oswego Co., NY, she was the daughter of the late Hayward and Mildred Brandow Pettingill. She was married for fifty-five years to the late Wallace John MacDonald who died June 4, 1997. She was a secretary for West Utica Elementary School in the Macomb County School System.

She is survived by two daughters, Bonnie Ann Smith and husband Joe Michael of Sylva, NC and Laurie Jean Pellerito and husband John of Enterprise, AL; three grandchildren, Christopher and Lori Fultz, Rhonda and Darwin Stark and Michael and Jake Pellerito and four great-grandchildren, Alexandria Fultz, Taylor Fultz, Olivia Stark and Barak Zander Pellerito.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, PO Box 167, Memphis, TN 38101-9922.
